We use a combination of Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class post as well as Royal Mail Tracked 48.
The price is based on the weight and size of the products and will be calculated after you enter your address.
Items such as Greeting Cards, Tiny Salt Spoons or Garden Flower Seeds will be sent as Letterbox Shipping using 1st or 2nd Class post with Royal Mail.
Products such as Mushroom knives, Gold scissors, and shears will be dispatched through Age-Verified shipping, using our Tracked 48 service, to guarantee delivery only to customers aged 18 and above.
Large items such as Vintage Mirror - stone, and the Reclaimed Wood Meat Safe will be sent Large Shipping using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. If these items are purchased with other products, you will be charged £9.50 plus the shipping cost of the additional items
All other items will be sent as Standard Shipping using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.
We aim to have orders delivered within 3-5 working days (Please add additional days for Northern Ireland, Highlands and Channel Islands)
During our busiest times between October - January, please allow a few days extra days for your order to be delivered.
Due to a technical flaw with Shopify, some orders are charged twice for shipping, this is due to the products in the order coming from 2 locations, and unfortunately, Shopify does not offer an option to only charge shipping once.
We do our best to refund one of the shipping costs as soon as we see it, and we will contact you to let you know that the refund has been processed. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully, Shopify will rectify this issue asap.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer an international shipping service.

Customers will be notified by email when the order is ready for pick up.
Pick up times are between 10am - 5:00pm Monday - Saturday.
Please bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order.
This service is free and there is no minimum spend required.

RETURNS
We hope you are happy with your purchases from Closet & Botts but if not, we will be happy to offer a full refund on any item as long as it is returned in a saleable condition, within 28 days. After the 28 days unfortunately we can not offer a refund or exchange.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Any refunds will be processed once we have received and inspected your returned item. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to show up in your account.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are returning a damaged item and do not want a replacement, then the cost of the return shipping will be added onto your refund.

If you are unable to print the returns label, please include a piece of paper with your full name and order number and send back to the above address.
Orders made during the months of October - December, whether in-store or online, can be returned until 28th January. For purchases outside these months, the typical returns policy of 28 days applies

EXCHANGES
We do not offer exchanges, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to exchange an item, please reorder and return the original item to the address below, where we will process your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

DAMAGED ITEMS
Any damages caused during transit should be photographed and reported to us within 7 days of receiving the product.

We do our best to fairly represent our products. Please make sure to always check dimensions and in some rare cases allow for some slight colour variations.
We try to recycle as much of our packaging as possible so as to not add any extra packaging costs.
Some of our products are second hand and may show some signs of ageing. We try to show clear photos of any signs of wear, but this is not always possible.
